Ladies Week Fly Fishing for Women
Your week begins on Saturday with your arrival into Idaho Falls. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative of the ranch for your transfer to our facility. Once at the ranch, we will have a light snack prepared for you to enjoy while you unpack and relax from your day of travel. If you choose there will be an early afternoon video you may watch detailing the art of fly fishing. Cocktails will be served early between 6:00 to 8:00 pm. followed by dinner at 8:00 pm. After dinner, you have the option of relaxing in the lodge area or retiring for the evening.
For those ladies in need of instruction before heading for the rivers and streams, we have planned a casting demonstration/workshop on the river bank after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. You will have a chance to brush up on your fly fishing skills. This is also a good chance to ask questions about any problems you may have been experiencing. Just a few things you will learn at our demonstration/workshop :
Prior to leaving for the stream we will have our head guide Doug Gibson give a short demonstration on aquatic insects and reading a stream followed by a question/answer and then off to the river. Tonight will be the first night of four to schedule an appointment with the masseuse compliments of Three Rivers Ranch. After returning from fishing and before dinner there will be a short fly-tying demonstration for those who would like to attend. This will be your opportunity to learn to tie your own fly as well as use it on the stream.
This evening will include an early cocktail party with your guides on the deck along Robinson Creek. We will also provide new rods and reels for you to cast along with other fishing equipment that you will find interesting. Evening appointments with the masseuse continue.
After dinner you have the option of relaxing in the lodge area or retiring for the evening. Evening appointments with the masseuse continue.
Last night of appointments with Tracy our masseuse. Our barbecue on the deck begins at 7:00 p.m. Presentations and prizes will be given out for contest winners such as largest fish caught, least number of fish, smallest fish and all around lady angler of the week. Congratulations Ladies!
After breakfast departure from the lodge. Transportation will be provided back to Idaho Falls Airport.
As mentioned Tracy Wagner, the masseuse, will be available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening.
Karen Roberts, our chef, will be preparing special light entrees for those women who prefer something not so heavy for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Of course, the regular daily meal service will also be available.
It will be good to hear from you and we do hope that you will join us for our next ladies week. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to telephone.

- Why do you mend a line and how is it done?
- Why am I having problems seeing the fish take the fly?
- What can I do about setting the hook?
